Supporter's handbook

Buying sale merch

A marked-down shirt can be a great way to support a club, but the price is only one part of a good purchase.

Start with the official store

Club merchandise is sold through many storefronts, and search results can mix official shops with marketplaces, resale listings, and unlicensed products. Soccer Deals USA links only to stores operated by a club, league, or an approved retail partner identified by the club. The store named on the deal page remains the seller and the final authority on price, stock, delivery, and returns.

Before paying, check that the destination still uses the same club branding and product name shown in the catalog. A store may update a page after the latest collection run. If anything looks different, rely on the checkout page rather than an older catalog observation.

Understand the two-price test

A qualifying deal needs two visible prices: a lower current price and a higher original or compare-at price. That keeps ordinary products, vague promotion banners, and coupon-only offers from being presented as verified markdowns. The savings percentage is calculated from those store-provided prices.

Quick check: Confirm the sale price, original price, selected size, and availability one more time in the official store before placing the order.

Check size-level availability

A product can be generally available even when only a few sizes remain. This is especially common with end-of-season jerseys and discontinued training wear. Open the size selector before deciding that a price works for you. If the store publishes a size chart, compare its measurements with an item you already own rather than relying only on small, medium, or large labels.

Customized jerseys can have separate size, name-set, and return rules. Make sure a discounted blank jersey is actually eligible for customization before adding lettering or numbers.

Read final-sale and return terms

Markdowns are often final sale. Look for return restrictions on the product page, cart, and store policy before checkout. A low price is less useful if an item cannot be exchanged and the sizing is uncertain. Also check whether clearance products, customized items, hats, or opened accessories have different rules.

Include shipping in the real price

The catalog compares merchandise prices, not shipping totals. A small order can lose much of its apparent savings after shipping and tax. Consider whether the store offers pickup, whether several items can share one shipment, and whether a free-shipping threshold would cause you to spend more than planned. Promo codes and shipping offers are intentionally excluded from the verified deal count because they may depend on location, timing, or cart value.

Know what season you are buying

Clubs commonly reduce prior-season jerseys, sponsor designs, and retired colorways when new inventory arrives. That does not make the product less official. It does mean the design may differ from the current kit. Look at the product title and images carefully if you want a specific season, player, sponsor, or competition patch.

Why a deal may disappear

A listing leaves Soccer Deals USA when the official price returns to normal, the item becomes unavailable, or the store cannot be checked within the freshness window. A missing listing does not necessarily mean the product page is gone; it may simply no longer meet the catalog's two-price and availability rules.

Keep the purchase decision yours

Deals are ranked by the selected catalog sort, not by payments from clubs or stores. Soccer Deals USA does not currently use affiliate links. If that changes for a specific merchant, the commission relationship will be disclosed beside the affected store button. The practical goal stays the same: help supporters find legitimate markdowns and complete purchases directly with official club shops.
